Joshua B. Press

Josh Press, an associate in the Infrastructure, Energy Resources and Projects Practice Group at Hogan Lovells, operates primarily out of Latin America. His practice centers on helping clients in energy infrastructure project financing, with a recent focus on major oil and gas projects. He's also worked with renewable energy project financings for a number of years.

Originally from New York City, Josh has lived in Brazil, Argentina, and Ecuador, and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish.

Advised a prominent oil company on the US$1bn sale and subsequent lease of a semi-submersible oil production platform.

Advised a prominent oil company on the negotiation of EPC contracts relating to construction of floating production, storage, and off-loading units.

Advised a major international corporation on negotiations with more than a dozen lenders on the issuance of the company's 2014 financial statements.

Advised a consortium of multilateral institutions and international lenders on the financing of Central America's largest hydroelectric facility.

Advised a multilateral institution on the financing of two wind farms in Uruguay.

Advised a consortium of multilateral institutions and international lenders on the refinancing of a US$400m project bond.
