Joseph M. Licare

Joseph M. Licare advises clients on commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on financial services litigation and lender liability issues. Joseph's current practice concentrates on the representation of major financial institutions relating to consumer mortgages, contract disputes, and regulatory matters.

Joseph has a wealth of experience assisting clients in all aspects of lender liability litigation, including mortgage default litigation, quiet title disputes, and loss mitigation. He has also drafted dispositive motions and regularly appears in state court in conjunction with his lender liability matters.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Joseph worked at a large law firm in New York City, where he concentrated on complex commercial litigation. He has also worked as a senior court attorney with the Honorable Alan D. Scheinkman, Administrative Judge, in the Ninth Judicial District of the Supreme Court, where he primarily mediated foreclosure settlement conferences.
