Jonas Poell focuses his practice on commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
He has experience in international arbitrations under various rules, including the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, and DIS Rules. He has further represented clients before EU and national courts in relation to arbitration and investment protection and has experience in business and human rights.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Jonas practised for several years at international law firms in Paris, Brussels, and Washington D.C., focusing on international arbitration and EU law. He is a lecturer at the University of Munich, where he teaches public international law. Jonas has further worked on pro bono projects for human rights organisations and in the area of public international law.
