Jordyn Johnson focuses her practice on communications, internet, and media law and helps clients navigate the complex landscape of artificial intelligence, content moderation, child online safety, Section 230, and First Amendment issues through strategic advocacy before both regulators and courts. She began her Hogan Lovells career as a summer associate in 2023. 

During law school at The George Washington University, Jordyn served as Senior Managing Editor of Volume 76 of the Federal Communications Law Journal, refining her writing skills. She also gained invaluable experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Christopher R. Cooper of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, as well as a legal extern in the Office of Commissioner Geoffrey Starks at the Federal Communications Commission. Jordyn earned her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University, where she was Digital Editor of The Daily Atheneum.

Jordyn is deeply committed to pro bono work, particularly in the areas of domestic violence and family law. She served as a student attorney in the Family Justice Litigation Clinic at George Washington, where she represented clients in civil protection order and child custody cases in D.C. Superior Court.
