Johannes Denecke focuses on resolving complex project-related conflicts, in particular in connection with EPC contracts and O&M agreements, with emphasis on the energy and power plant sector. In this context, Johannes offers advice on contractual claim and conflict management as well as the defence against or enforcement of claims in court and arbitration proceedings (in particular ICC and DIS).
Johannes also frequently advises with respect to the drafting and negotiation of project agreements, EPC and EPC subcontracts and O&M agreements. His clients are in particular project developers, general contractors, project companies as well as lenders.

Representing an international contractor in court proceedings with respect to claims under a sales agreement for know-how in the energy from waste sector.
Representing a project company in arbitration proceedings regarding the O&M of an energy from waste power plant.
Advising a leading international industrial company in the take-over of more than 100 subcontracts for the construction of a coal-fired power plant.
Advising a German sponsor and EPC contractor in connection with the participation in several PFI energy from waste power plant tenders in the UK.
Advising a general planner in the intended implementation of power plant projects in South America and North Africa, partly through complex joint venture structures.
