Jocelyn is a disputes lawyer with a broad practice, which encompasses commercial litigation, international arbitration, financial services and contentious regulatory work as well as contentious insolvency. Jocelyn speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and French.

In addition to her legal practice, Jocelyn is committed to levelling the playing field for women in the dispute resolution space and is a committee member of LILA (Ladies in Litigation and Arbitration).

Acting for a financial institution and its employees in an investigation by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in respect of its banking licence.

Acting for a financial institution and its employees in an investigation by the Securities and Futures Money in respect of the client money rules.

Acting for a listed media company and its employees in an investigation by the Securities and Futures Commission in respect of disclosure of inside information.

Acting for liquidators of a Hong Kong listed company in multi-million Hong Kong dollar fraud and negligence claims against its former management.

Acting for a Chinese medical manufacturer against its Danish customer in a US$50 million HKIAC arbitration concerning breaches and termination of a supply agreement.

Acting for a former director of a listed company in proceedings brought by the Securities and Futures Commission in the High Court and the Market Misconduct Tribunal and by shareholders in relation to alleged recklessness or negligence as to disclosure of false or misleading information inducing transactions.

Acting for a Hong Kong listed company where for the first time the Hong Kong courts stayed a petition to wind up a solvent company so that the underlying dispute could be resolved by arbitration pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association.
