Jillian Beck is a trial lawyer who zealously represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, energy, accounting, and finance. She has hands-on experience in all stages of litigation in both state and federal court, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, examining witnesses, and managing trial teams. In March 2021, Jillian played a significant role on a trial team that secured a US$152 million jury verdict in the Eastern District of Texas.

As the leader of the firm's Global Energy Studio, our Energy industry team think tank, Jillian engages with the latest energy sector developments and couples her legal advice with market insights. Jillian’s strong command of energy sector and litigation developments, particularly the impact of new technologies, earned her a spot on the Law360 Texas Editorial Board.

Prior to law school, Jillian worked as a high school math teacher on the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico as part of the Teach for America program. While an undergraduate, she served as the captain of the University of Texas's nationally competitive public speaking team, and was a two-time individual national champion in limited preparation speaking events.

Following graduation from law school, Jillian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ewing Werlein, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
