Kevin Jazdzyk is an inventive associate who has worked for some of the world’s most well-known chemical engineering companies.
Leveraging his background and work experience in chemical engineering, Kevin helps clients understand the issues that they are facing, and develop the best patent strategy for their company.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kevin worked for 7 years as a process engineer for prominent chemical companies. This afforded him hands-on experience working in multiple chemical unit operations, including acrylic, polyethylene, and surfactant production units. Kevin has had the opportunity to lead large chemical plant projects: identifying challenges, working with operators, maintenance, other engineers, and plant leadership to develop solutions and implement those solutions. Kevin now brings that same start-to-finish experience to his intellectual property practice.
Kevin has advised clients on patent preparation and prosecution issues both for the U.S. and internationally. He has also reviewed IP portfolios to analyze risk for potential mergers and acquisitions.
