James Clarke

James is an Associate in our international banking and finance practice in London. He has experience as a general banking lawyer acting for both lenders and borrowers with a specific focus on trade and commodity finance and emerging markets in general. James has also worked in the firm's Dubai office, working on both conventional and Islamic financings.

Representative Experience

Advising the Stemcor Group in the refinancing of their Indian facilities.

Assisting BNP Paribas and Natixis in relation to the amendment and restatement of each Bank's syndicated revolving facility agreement to an Eastern European agri-producer.

Advising Mashreqbank PSC as global facility agent in relation to a syndicated conventional and Islamic senior secured credit facility to GEMS Education.

Assisting Kingdom Holding Company in relation to a syndicated secured term loan facility co-ordinated by Citibank.

Advising Kingdom Holding Company in the refinancing of the Hotel George V, Paris

Advising a major financial institution on GBP20,000 receivables purchase agreement made available to a recruitment provider.

Acting on various loan financings for Multilaterals and DFIs such as EIB and FMO.
