Jakub's professional experience includes advising on various issues regarding privacy and data protection issues for clients from many different industry sectors, including insurance companies, banks, pharmaceutical companies and telecoms. He has vast experience in conducting due diligence studies in the field of intellectual property, drafting copyright transfer and copyright license contracts as well as in conducting customs procedures related to violations of intellectual property rights.
Jakub joined the Intellectual Property, Media and Technology Department at Hogan Lovells’ Warsaw Office in 2010. His focus is on matters involving privacy and data protection, industrial property law, unfair competition, copyrights, as well as general civil and commercial law. Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University and from Postgraduate Studies in the field of Intellectual Property Law at Warsaw University. In addition, he has been an advocate trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association since 2013.

Advising and assisting a number of companies regarding transactions concerning the purchasing or selling of real properties, in particular advising within the scope of copyright issues.
Advising leading global software producers on issues related to software licences, including the localising of licence agreements and the drawing up and negotiating of agreements with clients.
