As an associate in the Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) practice of Hogan Lovells Brussels Jaime Rodríguez-Toquero focuses on all aspects of EU law and competition, with particular experience in multi-jurisdictional merger control and cartel investigations. He has particular knowledge in the maritime transport, automotive and energy sectors. Jaime studied Law at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and holds an LL.M in European Competition and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Liège and an LL.M in European Union Law from the University of Maastricht.
Prior to joining our Brussels office, Jaime worked at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition on cartel investigations in different industry sectors. He previously worked as a trainee lawyer at the Legal Service of the Spanish Competition Authority (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia).
