Inga Ludewig is a commercial litigator who serves clients navigate through complex international disputes. She is a solicitor of England & Wales and regularly handles cases involving allegations of fraud or corruption. She has experience in contractual disputes, including the breakdown of JV partnerships and the threat of corporate collapse. 

Inga advises on compliance and internal investigations in challenging environments, including various countries in Africa and the Former Soviet Union. She has special experience in assisting clients to navigate the practical challenges presented by FCPA and Bribery Act compliance issues and to manage internal or regulatory investigations. 

She has advised several high-profile clients on arbitration under ICC and ICSID Rules and assisted clients from the natural resources sector in the preliminary stages of bilateral investment treaty claims. 

Inga obtained her law degree from Nottingham Law School.

Representative experience

Acted for an executive from a listed enterprise involved in a major government and regulatory investigation spanning across three continents.

Represented an investor in the Democratic of Congo on a joint venture dispute and consequential ICC arbitration in relation to an expropriated mining asset.

Advised a litigation fund on initial case applications and future litigation strategy.

Advised an African state on an infrastructure construction dispute.

Acted for a listed company from the natural resources sector in its dispute against the Republic of Uzbekistan under ICSID Rules.

Advised a fuel supplier under a US Department of Defence contract on compliance issues and its dispute with the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
