Anna Hewitt joined Hogan Lovells in 2017. She has been practicing as a Legal Advisor since 1994 and is a member of the Circuit Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

Anna Hewitt also graduated from postgraduate studies in "Real Estate Valuation"– from the Land Surveying and Spatial Development Faculty at the University of Agriculture and Technology in Olsztyn.

Anna has many years experience in international markets, leading financial institutions and law firms, and specializes in providing legal services for corporate and investment banking institutions (banking law, corporate, commercial law, and debt trading law).

Her key areas of expertise are: experience in legal services for international transactions on financing by loans, bonds, guarantees, and letters of credit including transactions secured in Export Credit Insurance Corporation; legal services for inter-banking transactions including transactions on risk participation (risk sharing); identifying and minimizing legal risks in the field of banking products and services (eg. loans, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and collaterals); participation and coordination of legal services in cross border projects related to outsourcing and the standardization of information systems, documentation, procedures and internal regulations in banks and their capital groups; creating product documentation including the issuance of bonds, loans, securities of bank receivables, factoring, guarantees, and debt redemptions; developing bank security interest manuals; legal services in Public Sector financing.

Anna is also a co-author of Polish agreements in the standards of the Loan Market Association created by the working group at the Association of Polish Banks.

Advising DNB Bank ASA , filial Sverige, Stockholm, Sweden on financial crossborder transactions.

Advising DNB ASA, Oslo, Norway on financial crossborder transactions secured in the Export Credit Insurance Corporation.

Advising DNB Bank Polska S.A. on corporate banking issues including large international transactions of financing and internal projects within DNB Group.

Advising Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. on corporate banking issues, including large international transactions of financing and rendering legal support for bank's subsidiaries.

Advising Allied Irish Banks (AIB) on corporate matters concerning Polish issues within the AIB Group.
