Miguel Hernández Sánchez, an associate in Mexico City, handles insurance, reinsurance, and the Lloyd's market, including life and non-life insurance companies, intermediaries, and other market professionals.

Miguel also focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and commercial matters. He has led and coordinated attorney teams for numerous share and asset acquisitions and company sales. He regularly advises and assists foreign clients with their business ventures in Mexico. During the past year he has advised more than 30 foreign reinsurers across the full range of legal issues that they face.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Miguel worked from 2004 to 2014 for a boutique Mexican law firm (the last three years of which he was a partner). There he focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and international transactions.
