Dr. Céline Helmschrot advises you on data protection in strategic GDPR projects and GDPR compliance as well as on design and development of digital products and business models in the field of the digital business, life science, mobility and the retail sector. Moreover, she advises you on questions concerning employee data protection and represents you in proceedings before the data protection authorities.
Céline advises you on issues of European and national data privacy law, including data processing agreements, privacy policies, records of processing activities, website compliance and legal issues in the field of online marketing. Another focus of her work is advising on digital health products from a data protection perspective. Céline also advises on IT law issues, such as the drafting and negotiation of software and project contracts.
Céline Helmschrot studied law in Göttingen with a focus on IP and IT law. She worked for several years as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Economic and Media Law at the University of Göttingen and received a Ph.D. in 2018 for her dissertation in the fields of data protection law. During her doctoral thesis time she worked for an international law firm in Hamburg.
