Will advises financial institutions on a range of corporate and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on long-term insurance and reinsurance. His practice is both transactional and advisory in nature. He has acted on domestic and international reorganisations of insurance groups, buy-in transactions, longevity swaps and other methods of reducing risk for insurers and pension schemes.
He has also advised banks, insurers and other financial institutions on their regulatory requirements under UK and EU law, in particular on their regulatory capital obligations under Solvency II and the Capital Requirements Regulation.
He recently spent 6 months seconded to a major UK insurer.
