Jason Hadges

Jason Hadges brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Hogan Lovells' Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology regulatory law practice.

Jason joined the firm after having served for five years in the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and eight years in the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He provides counsel and advice on regulatory compliance matters involving the FDA and DEA, with a particular emphasis on investigations and enforcement actions.

At the DEA, Jason was a senior attorney in the Chief Counsel's Diversion and Regulatory Litigation Section (CCD) where he litigated administrative enforcement actions against DEA registrants and applicants, and provided legal counsel to DEA investigators on a range of compliance issues under the Controlled Substances Act and DEA regulations.

Before joining the DEA, Jason served as an Associate Chief Counsel for the FDA where he provided legal counsel to FDA's Office of Criminal Investigations on an array of enforcement issues relating to criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and FDA regulations. While at FDA, Jason also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney on several criminal cases emanating from FDA investigations.

Jason began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney in the U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps.
