Jennifer Guzman combines her legal knowledge with her background in business management to take a pragmatic and commercial approach to advising clients on all aspects of their commercial real estate transactions.
Her practice focuses on commercial property acquisition and development, real estate finance, and corporate lease agreements in both the single site and multi-site context. From acquisitions of industrial park and medical office portfolios to navigating global real estate asset transactions, Jennifer takes great pride in producing value-added results for her clients' business goals.
Prior to her legal career, Jennifer trained and handled explosive and narcotic detection canines for numerous law enforcement agencies and in-house global security departments. In this role, she gained valuable insights on diligence, focus, and strategic perspectives, which she draws on to help her legal clients identify and restructure problems and turn them into valuable solutions.
While in law school, Jennifer served as an intern for the Honorable Craig B. Shaffer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado as well as the Colorado Department of Transportation focusing on procurement and contract services. Jennifer regularly speaks on panels regarding issues of diversity and inclusion in law schools and the profession.
