As a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells, Jackson has more than 10 years' experience advising global clients in a wide variety of industries, from electronics, chemicals, automotive parts, industrial components and consumables to IT and talent recruitment.

Jackson's practice focuses on general corporate and business law, cross border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, employment, and general regulatory compliance. He advises multinationals on the whole spectrum of doing business in China, including market entry by commercial arrangements, green field investments, mergers and acquisitions, and expansions, restructurings or relocations of their China operations as well as complex labour downsizings and other regulatory compliance issues.

Jackson is dual-qualified in mainland China and New York and is fluent in English and Mandarin. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, he worked at the Shanghai offices of several foreign law firms.

Advising a U.S. chemicals company on its assets acquisition of a Chinese company in Dalian.

Advising a U.S. industrial components company on: US$143m equity acquisition of a Chinese company in Guangdong; RMB160m buy-out of the Chinese partner of a JV in Shanghai; US$2m buy-out of the Chinese partner of a JV in Shandong.

Advising a U.S. chemicals company on its US$38m equity JV with a Chinese chemicals company in Shanxi.
