Marie-Agnès Guillemare

Marie-Agnès Guillemare joined the International Debt Capital Markets team in the Paris office in August 2012. She works on a range of capital markets products including structure issues, medium-term note programmes, regulatory issues and financings  in relation to assets transfers. 

Having obtained a degree in Business Law and Financial Law from the Université Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), and before joining Hogan Lovells, Marie-Agnès spent four years as head of financial law and stock exchange law for a company listed on NYSE-Euronext Paris and three years with Powernext, a regulated investment firm.

Advising a state-owned "bad bank" on the acquisition and wind-down of its €2.2 billion French portfolio consisting of loans, derivatives and real estate financings.

Assistance in the setting-up of securitisations.

Secondment to the structured debt department of a major French bank.

Secondment to the short term paper and euro commercial paper department of a major French bank.

Advice in respect of compliance for a leading French bank in relation to OFAC rules and advice in relation to service delivery for Swift payments.

Drafting of agency agreements in structured financings.

Advising a management company specialising in agribusiness on a Euro PP bond issue in the amount of EUR 30 million.
