Anton is a Russian-qualified associate whose practice is focused on provision of comprehensive advise on dispute resolution matters including complex commercial litigation and international arbitration as well as on internal investigations, compliance, asset tracing and fraud. He is experienced in consulting both Russian and foreign companies on a wide range of issues related to disputes before state courts and arbitration tribunals. Anton worked on projects in industries as diverse as financial institutions, construction, agriculture and consumer.

Representative experience

Acting for and advising BTA Bank (Kazakhstan) in enforcement proceeding that followed asset recovery litigation in Russia concerning fraudulent transactions for more than US$1bn allegedly entered into by former management.

Advising a global energy and commodity trading company on the recovery of assets and funds misappropriated by a certain grain supplier from the southern region of Russia.

Advising a Russian subsidiary of a Japanese tyre manufacturer in the ICAC arbitration in relation to a dispute with a Turkish contractor under a construction agreement.

Advising a US based global technology company on internal investigations in Russia and Eastern Europe regarding allegations of fraud and corruption by its senior personnel.

Advising Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) in anti-fraud, insolvency and asset tracing litigation against the beneficial owners and directors of Mezhprombank in a US$2bn case.
