Innovate through a global dynamic
High-quality opportunities
I chose Hogan Lovells because I wanted to work at a firm with significant international reach. I joined a firm with an international presence and have seen it grow into one of the leading global firms, with depth and breadth worldwide.
Because of the global nature of the practice, I’ve had the opportunity to work with colleagues around the world on cutting-edge transactional work. When you work with international colleagues on a daily basis, you get an insight into a culture and how others outside the United States approach issues and problem solving, which would not be available to you if your practice was limited to purely domestic matters.
Professional expertise
I’m a graduate of the New York University School of Law. As a partner in our Finance practice group for approximately two decades, I focus on capital markets and securities law. I represent issuers, underwriters, corporate trustees, and financial intermediaries in both equity and debt offerings, as well as advise companies on U.S. corporate law matters and SEC compliance. My daily practice is a mixture of drafting and negotiating legal documentation, advising on securities law issues, and counseling clients.
Deep relationships
My team is a mix of counsel and associates at various levels of seniority. Part of what I enjoy about my practice is training junior associates and watching them develop and grow.
Working around late-night drafting sessions, I’ve also enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of new jurisdictions with my colleagues. As an example, Mumbai is just as vibrant at midnight as it is at noon. When working abroad on deals with my local colleagues, they are invariably warm and friendly. I’ve had the pleasure of being invited into the homes of my colleagues around the world.
