We represent local, national, and international clients, principally in the areas of litigation, corporate and securities, business restructuring and insolvency, finance and banking, employment, and FDA regulatory. We provide a full range of legal services to a broad spectrum of clients ranging from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies to global media conglomerates. Our clients have come to depend on us for experienced counsel and advocacy.

  • We’re consistently ranked among the top California firms by Chambers USA for Health Care, Commercial Litigation, and Securities Litigation. We’re also recognized by The Legal 500 for Class Action Litigation and Real Estate.
  • Members of our office have held key federal government positions, including serving as Acting U.S. Attorney of Los Angeles and as Associate Chief Counsel at the Food and Drug Administration.

Our pro bono work

Public Counsel’s Consumer Law Project awarded us its prestigious Public Counsel Pro Bono Award for our substantial work representing a vulnerable man who’d been fraudulently led to sign over the title to his home. We shielded both the client and his daughter from homelessness and procured an outstanding settlement that afforded him hope and stability.

Through the Alliance for Children’s Rights, we represented 12 families in connection with the adoption of 15 children. We assisted the adoptive parents with completing all of the necessary paperwork and attended the adoption hearings. We continue to assist families through the Alliance for Children’s Rights.

We represented the Los Angeles LGBT Center in connection with the tax exempt bond financing for the Anita May Rosenstein Campus, which will provide 100 units of affordable senior housing, 100 beds for homeless youth, and up to 35 units of supportive housing for young people.

Through KIND (Kids in Need of Defense), we represented four children from El Salvador who fled their country to escape gang-related violence. We assisted in completing all the necessary paperwork for these children’s naturalization process and by making court appearances on their behalf at immigration hearings.

Our community outreach

Through Friends of Lockwood, we’ve been providing financial and volunteer support to Lockwood Avenue Elementary School, a school located in a low-income area of Hollywood that receives limited funding for extracurricular activities, for nearly a decade. We’ve put on numerous events, including career days, arts and science events, Halloween carnivals, as well as an annual trip to Disneyland.

We regularly volunteer at Meals on Wheels and Project Angel Food to prepare, serve, and deliver nourishing meals to the elderly as well as those battling critical illnesses.

We visit Operation Gratitude’s warehouse to help assemble care packages for U.S. troops, first responders, veterans, military families, and wounded heroes and their care givers.
