Our pro bono work

We partner with FreeState Legal and the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service to help low-income Baltimore residents more effectively participate in the workforce.

We provide assistance with name and gender-marker change petitions for members of the transgender community and help with criminal record expungements.

We’re working to develop opportunities to provide legal services, both remotely and in-person at clinics, across rural Maryland to assist veterans who are homeless (or at risk of homelessness) in accessing services to which they may be entitled through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Our community outreach

We regularly partner with Sarah’s Hope, Baltimore’s largest homeless shelter for families. We help the families it serves by raising funds, volunteering time, and donating supplies for activities and events. We also bring monthly birthday parties to Sarah’s Hope for the children there who are celebrating a birthday.

We participated in the Empty Bowls program to raise money to feed the area’s homeless.  We hosted an in-house fundraiser where our people could make a donation to paint a bowl, which was then donated to an external fundraiser.  We also volunteered to work at the external fundraiser.
