As a counsel in our International Arbitration Group, Gauthier Vannieuwenhuyse focuses his practice on commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
He brings extensive experience of arbitration under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL, acting for companies from diverse industries as well as on behalf of States and international organizations. Gauthier has particular experience in arbitration in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications, energy, and pharmaceutical sectors, with a focus on emerging markets, particularly in the Middle East and Africa. He also regularly acts in arbitration-related Court proceedings including annulment proceedings before the Paris Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Gauthier was an associate in the international arbitration team at a major international law firm. He also publishes regularly on topical issues in international arbitration.
