A single mistake in complying with the complex legal requirements involved in financing structures could represent significant losses to a business.
Jesús García understands how important it is for governments, private investors, and banking institutions to plan a bulletproof structure in order to finish the construction of that subway line, buy that high-tech equipment, or execute that multimillion dollar loan.
Each transaction is unique depending on the amount of the deal, the asset backing the payment, or the number and kind of participants.
Jesús' vast experience involves coordinating the execution of complex sub-sovereign and private financing plans and public-private partnerships; assisting rating agencies in the analysis of structured financing executed by public entities; submitting several filings before government authorities on a federal, state, and municipal level; and supporting government institutions in the preparation of public-private partnership laws and administrative provisions, among others.
His practice is not just limited to banking and finance. He has worked on countless corporate and real estate matters, such as preparing and supervising all types of civil and commercial agreements, corporate books, shareholder resolutions, legal opinions, and due diligence processes.
