José Antonio is an associate in the Capital Markets practice of our Madrid office.
He advises clients on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, non-preemptive offerings and debt offerings—covering both convertible and non-convertible instruments. He has experience assisting financial institutions with the structuring and registration of fixed income programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and market standards.
Beyond capital markets, José Antonio has advised private equity funds and international companies on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, José Antonio worked at one of the leading law firms in continental Europe, where he completed a secondment in its London office.
José Antonio holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.
