Karina Galicia has worked in the Compliance, Data Protection, and Corporate practice areas at Hogan Lovells in Mexico City since 2013.
Karina has broad experience conducting and managing cross-border, anti-corruption, and fraud investigations involving private and public entities. She also focuses on assessing domestic and multinational companies on compliance and data privacy matters.
Karina started her career at Hogan Lovells advising on corporate and procurement matters for various industries and has participated in several secondments for multinational companies. Additionally, from October 2016 to January 2017, she had a trainee experience in the firm's Paris office, working in the Corporate and Intellectual Property practices, which included a professional capability of assessments in Spanish, English, and French simultaneously.
These experiences have given Karina an edge in compliance matters, allowing her to conduct anti-corruption investigations and provide advice to clients by understanding both the corporate and regulatory aspects of public and private companies.
