Mary-Beth joined Hogan Lovells' business restructuring and insolvency team in 2021, having worked at another leading law firm in London. She has experience acting for various stakeholders including insolvency practitioners, major banks, investment firms and boards of directors in respect of a broad range of insolvency-related matters.  

Mary-Beth is building a wide-ranging practice focused on formal insolvency procedures and domestic and cross-border debt restructurings.

Acting for the administrators in relation to the administration of a currency exchange business with national and overseas subsidiaries.

Acting for the administrators of a large independent healthcare and care home group in connection with the proposed sale of the business.*

Advising the administrators of a former 'pay-day' lender in the lead up to administration and subsequent sales of the remaining loan-book portfolio.*

Advising the board of directors of a well-known casual dining chain on the restructuring of its debts via a company voluntary arrangement.*

Advising the board of directors of a UK-based construction group during a period of financial difficulty as the board considered multiple options to achieve a solvent solution.*
