Maryam Franzella is a trained litigator with both trial and appellate court experience. She has represented clients in state and federal courts in cases involving commercial disputes, banking disputes, employment disputes, foreclosures, and bankruptcies.
She has served as lead associate on hundreds of litigation matters and has handled all aspects of case management for her clients. Recently, Maryam put her knowledge and skills to use in molding a future generation of lawyers as an adjunct professor of Legal Writing and Lawyering Skills at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
A graduate of Fordham Law School, where she was a member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law, Maryam began her legal career as an associate in the commercial litigation group of one of Long Island's largest full-service law firms, representing corporate clients on a broad range of matters.
Maryam is admitted to practice in New York state and Florida. She was named a New York Metro Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016.
