Ben Field focuses on appellate litigation, bringing first-hand experience from both practice and two federal court of appeals clerkships.
Before joining the firm, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Kent A. Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Between clerkships, he practiced at a major law firm, where he assisted clients with complex issues of securities law and antitrust, including both litigation and merger pre-clearance matters.
While in law school, Ben won the Benjamin N. Cardozo Prize for appellate moot court brief-writing and was a finalist in the Morris Tyler moot court competition, as well as a Coker Fellow in contracts. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Chicago, Ben applied economic theory and statistical analysis to solve difficult real-world business problems as an economic strategy consultant.
