Felipe has participated in several corporate transactions for the sale and purchase of stakes in insurance companies and the establishment of corporate vehicles for foreign companies in the Spanish market. Moreover, Felipe is very active in bancassurance alliances and cross-border transactions across Continental Europe and Latin America. He is an associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance team in Madrid. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells in 2010, he worked at one of the top-tier law firms in Spain. Felipe has extensive experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and other regulatory and contractual matters, advising both domestic and international insurance companies.
In addition, he has a broad experience in company law, having advised several large companies in the conduct of their corporate governance and the implementation of Solvency II regime. Finally, Felipe combines corporate advice with litigation. Since 2008, he has gained experience across a wide range of litigation matters. As a lawyer at Hogan Lovells, he has recently been involved in significant cases related to damages for breach of contract, directors' liabilities, coverage disputes and industrial losses.
