Felipe is a counsel with a wealth of experience across the full range of corporate practices. He has more than 10 years of expertise in a variety of corporate work and general M&A, including venture capital transactions, private and public acquisitions, joint-ventures and restructuring, advising both domestic and international listed and unlisted clients and private equity houses.
Felipe has participated in several corporate transactions for the sale and purchase of stakes in large companies, complex assignment of assets & liabilities and the establishment of all kind of corporate vehicles for foreign enterprises to carry out their business within the Spanish market. Moreover, Felipe is very active in monetization transactions with financial institutions, bancassurance joint-ventures and cross-border transactions across Continental Europe and Latin America.

Advising Allianz on the bancassurance alliance with BBVA.
Advised idealista in the acquisition of the insurance distribution business for the real estate sector of Instituto de Desarrollo Asegurador.
Advising FIATC in the acquisition of 100% of the capital of the insurance company IPRESA, a medical insurance company whose capital stock was owned by more than 30 doctors/shareholders.
Advising Allianz on ControlExpert Holding Group acquisition.
Advising Ibercaja Banco on the bancassurance alliance in Caser upon its sale of a relevant stake within the “Helvetia take-over”.
Advising AXA on the acquisition of IMQ (Cantabria).
Advising Orange on the telcoassurance alliance with Zurich.
Advising Swiss Re on the VIF monetization agreement with Banc Sabadell.
Advising AXA on the bancassurance alliance with Andbank.
Advising CNP Assurances on its acquisition of a majority stake in iSalud, a Spanish-market leading insurtech company.
Adviving Liberty Mutual on the sale of its insurance business in Poland.
Advising a large US financial institution on its strategic investment of assets in Latin America.
Advising Santa Lucía (one of the major Spanish insurance companies) on its acquisition of the entire Spanish insurance and funds business of Aviva Europe.
Advising AXA on the potential sale and purchase of the insurance perimeter (Life and Non-Life) of Groupe Assurances du Crédit Mutuel (GACM) in Spain, for 310 million euros.
