Federico Fusco already had a wealth of experience as a commercial litigator when he joined Hogan Lovells in 2008, and he has been handling cutting-edge IP litigation ever since, backed by his passion for auto and high-end technologies. Be it a brand, a nice piece of technology or some highly confidential business information, Federico knows how to take the most out of it in a judicial brief.
Conversely, he knows how to challenge the scope and validity of any IP rights thereon, if the client is faced with an infringement claim. Federico obtained an LL.M. in General Legal Studies from the New York University School of Law, concentrating on IP and Contract Law (2007), and a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Florence, with a focus on copyright law (2008).
Federico's litigation skills and profound understanding of substantive IP law are reflected in his outstanding ability to draft complex license agreements, transfers of technology and copyright contracts. All this is coupled with his effective negotiation style.
