What are the consequences of Brexit

31 May, 2016

A referendum is being held on Thursday, 23 June to decide whether Britain should leave or remain in the European Union. The outcome is still entirely open-ended. The so called "Brexit" would be one of the greatest challenges the European Union has ever had to face.

How will Brexit affect companies and businesses? What does it signify for banks, financial services, and insurance firms? What will be the consequences for intellectual property, antitrust, and tax law?

The seminar consists of three talks followed by a panel discussion:

  • Brexit:The View From The UK | Charles Brasted
  • Brexit and Intellectual Property | Prof. Dr. Winfired Tilmann
  • Brexit: It's impact on Financial Services in Europe | Dr. Michael Leistikow
