Upcoming changes to prospectus rules in the EU and UK: ever increasing divergence?

On Wednesday, 26 June, a panel of partners from our European Structured Products team will be discussing the upcoming changes to prospectus rules in the EU and the UK, followed by a cocktail reception in our London office.

With both the EU and the UK pressing ahead with prospectus reforms, this seminar will look at the likely impact of the upcoming changes on debt capital market participants and compare how certain requirements such as ESG disclosure, risk factors and the approach to supplements will be considered going forward in each of the UK and the EU.

Now that the European Parliament has approved the text of the EU Listing Act and the UK has made The Public Offers and Admissions to Trading Regulations 2024, there is some further clarity on the direction of travel and in this seminar we will provide an overview of the main changes both in the EU and UK that debt capital markets participants will want to start thinking about now.

This presentation is relevant for debt issuance – from corporate bonds, debt instruments issued by credit institutions to structured products issued off programmes or on a standalone basis.
