UK 2.0: discussion dinner on the future of the UK

26 November 2014 London

On 26 November 2014, Hogan Lovells hosted a discussion and dinner in the aftermath of the Scottish Independence Referendum on the future of the UK and its impact on business. Andrew Neil, journalist and broadcaster, gave us his insights into the "state of the nation" and the path to UK 2.0. We then explored the issues and way forward with a conversation over dinner and an expert panel discussion, chaired by Ambassador Hugo Paemen -  Senior Advisor on International Trade and Investment and EU Regulatory.

The evening prompted lots of interesting debate on the future governance of the UK and its relationship with the rest of the world.
