It's now the law! The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020

Less than six weeks after its first publication as a Bill, the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 received Royal Assent on 25 June 2020 and became effective on 26 June 2020.

Although vigorously debated in both Houses, only a relatively small number of amendments found their way into the final version of the Act. Those amendments, however, are significant.

Our speakers Tom Astle and Joe Bannister took part in a webinar looking at the key amendments and how they affect the temporary and permanent measures introduced by the Act.
