Infrastructure Development in Africa

06 March 2018 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM (AST)
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are pleased to invite you to a seminar focusing on infrastructure development in Africa, hosted with Invest Africa - Business Council for Africa.

Africa’s infrastructure deficit is a constraint on its growth, which can be viewed as an opportunity to leapfrog to new, more efficient technologies. In 2017 the World Bank reported that closing the infrastructure quantity and quality gap in Africa, relative to the best performers in the world, could increase growth of GDP per capita by 2.6% per year.

Geoffrey White, CEO of Agility Africa, is an expert on infrastructure development, agri-business, and investment in African markets. Geoffrey will be discussing the future prospects of Africa’s infrastructure development industry, spotlighting: energy, retail, technology and consumer goods sectors. This will be followed by a Q&A, and an opportunity to network over lunch.
