Regulation of LNG Exports

On Tuesday, September 27, the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells will host the September brown bag luncheon of the Energy Bar Association Natural Gas Regulation Committee on the topic of "Regulation of LNG Exports."

Considered a potential "game changer" in the domestic and international natural gas markets, the prospect of LNG exports from the U.S. has become a hot topic in the energy business and the bar. Join staff from FERC and the DOE as they outline their agencies' procedures and policies for applications for authority to export LNG. In addition, the panel will feature an expert's views on the market conditions leading to the current interest in exporting LNG and the future of markets once exports begin.

  • Mustafa Ostrander, Hogan Lovells US LLP; Vice Chair, EBA Natural Gas Regulation Committee

  • Richard W. Foley, Branch Chief/Program Manager, Division of Pipeline Certificates, Office of Projects, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
  • Edward Myers, Attorney-Adviser, Office of General Counsel, U.S. Department of Energy
  • Greg Leonard, Vice President, Cornerstone Research
