American University Law Review Volume 69 Federal Circuit Symposium

Dr. Keith O'Doherty will speak on a panel, moderated by Professor Jonas Anderson, at the annual Federal Circuit Symposium on Friday, 1 November.

The Federal Circuit Symposium is hosted by the American University Law Review at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. The symposium is the nation's first and only academic symposium that is dedicated exclusively to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The symposium will feature a keynote interview with Chief Judge Sharon Prost, followed by panel discussions on patent law, international trade law, government contracts, veterans' law, and trademark law. Judge Jeri Somers, vice chair of the U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, will give the second keynote address. The panel will address the future of patent law, recent Federal Circuit and Supreme Court intellectual property decisions, and professional development.
