Advanced CAPA & Root Cause Analysis Conference

Ted Wilson was a speaker for two sessions during MedTech Intelligence's virtual Advanced CAPA & Root Cause Analysis Conference.

The first of Ted's two sessions was titled "Observed Ongoing CAPA Challenges." The topics included the Center for Devices and Radiological Health's (CDRH) perspective on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), typical enforcement actions, new U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initiatives, and company struggles with CAPA.

The second session Ted spoke during was entitled "Aging CAPAs and CAPAs that Never Close." The discussion surrounded CAPA timelines, ensuring the appropriate scope of them, the review and documentation of aging CAPAs, and CAPAs that never close.
