Dr. Eva Vonau

Before deciding to pursue her passion for law, Eva Vonau worked at one of the biggest TV and Film production sites in Germany as a technician on numerous productions. Today she uses her first-hand experience in the media industry to advise clients on trademark, copyright and unfair competition law matters in new and old media settings. Eva focuses on copyright law as well as all other areas of IP law, with a focus on media and entertainment industries, gaming and fashion as well as all online activities.

She advises nationally and internationally with a focus on infringement proceedings and contract drafting. Eva teaches Copyright Law at the Bucerius Law School (Hamburg), one of the leading law schools in Germany, and has published extensively in the field of copyright law. While training to be a lawyer, she interned at the legal department of the SWR, a German public broadcasting station. Eva is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
