As an associate in our Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation practice, Joshua Esam has wide-ranging experience working on a broad variety of EU and UK competition law matters. 

With a  commercial focus, he advises clients on the international merger control aspects of transactions, on competition law investigations and damages actions, as well as on competition law compliance. Joshua has in-depth experience across a broad range of industry sectors, including TMT, retail, and financial services.

Advising ARRIS on the EU and worldwide merger control aspects of its $7.4 billion acquisition by CommScope.

Advising a global food manufacturer on a wide variety of Article 101 and Article 102 competition law compliance queries.

Advising SABMiller on the EU merger control aspects of its £79 billion acquisition by AB InBev.

Advising Foxconn on its acquisition of the Nokia feature phone manufacturing and distribution business from Microsoft.

Advising Arris in respect of the competition aspects surrounding the $800 million sale of its Ruckus Wireless and ICX Switch business to Brocade.
