Egle Arena joined the Intellectual Property department of Hogan Lovells' Milan office in January 2014 as a Trainee Solicitor and became an associate after passing the bar exam in October 2014. She advises clients on contentious and non-contentious aspects of intellectual property law, focusing in particular on trademark, design and unfair competition law. She also contributes to the design section of the LimeGreen IP.
Egle focuses on national and international matters relating to trademarks, design and unfair competition for clients operating in a wide range of industries. Egle also manages complex international trademark portfolios and assists clients on Italian Customs matters. Following a Law degree from the University of Catania in 2011, Egle attended the LLM program at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) in 2013.
