As an Associate in our London Intellectual Property, Media and Technology team Edward makes use of his scientific and technical background to advise clients across a wide range of industry groups. Edward has worked on matters involving patents in everything from telecommunications standards to industrial catalysts, and small molecule and biologic pharmaceuticals.

While based in our London office, much of Edward's work has had an international element, with litigation being conducted in parallel with overseas proceedings. Edward also provides IP advice in relation to corporate transactions, including venture capital investment and acquisitions.

While at Hogan Lovells Edward has been seconded to a major multinational pharmaceutical company, and prior to joining spent time at a UK based biotechnology company. His first degree was in biological and biomedical sciences, within the University of Cambridge's Natural Sciences tripos. Edward also studied at Cambridge's Judge Business School, including modules in economics, strategy and models of business innovation in the digital age.

Edward's key sector based interests are in personalised healthcare and genomics, the Internet of Things and additive manufacturing.
