Eben van Zyl provides multi-disciplinary legal and related services, primarily to the mining, construction and engineering industries. 

He focuses on litigation, criminal, commercial, mining health and safety law, and occupational health and safety law. 

Eben has experience with regard to resolving mining disputes, together with preparing and reviewing documents and agreements related to the mining industry and conducting legal compliance audits of the health and safety systems implemented by various mining houses at various operations.

He assisted and represented various companies at investigations and inquiries conducted in terms of health and safety legislation including Glencore Operations South Africa Proprietary Limited, Rustenburg Platinum Mines Proprietary Limited, Royal Bafokeng Resources Proprietary Limited, Hernic Ferrochrome Proprietary Limited, Keaton Energy Holdings Limited, Tharisa Minerals Proprietary Limited, South32 SA Coal Holdings Proprietary Limited, Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine Proprietary Limite and Novus Holdings and its subsidiaries.
