Having spent ten years in Brussels, Jean-Sébastien has a lot of experience in handling complex merger and State aid cases before the European Commission.

Jean-Sébastien assists companies in the filing of their acquisitions to the European Commission, the French Competition Authority and merger control authorities worldwide.

He has been involved in high-profile State aid cases arising from the 2008 financial crisis, including the restructuring and orderly resolution plans of Dexia.

Jean-Sébastien also advises companies on the structuring of their contractual arrangements, as well as in antitrust investigations launched by the European Commission or the French Competition Authority.

Jean-Sébastien is an English solicitor and a member of the Paris bar.

Assisting key players in the airline and aerospace sectors in their merger control filings and contractual arrangements, including the negotiation of commitments.

Assisting a major European bank in complex merger control filings.

Advising Dexia on State aid issues and related State aid filings to the European Commission.
