Sharon Du is a patent agent with a background in electrical engineering whose work can be seen in the patent portfolios of some of the world's largest technology companies.

Sharon's primary practice includes all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, patentability and technology landscaping studies, and general patent strategy. Her experience spans many technology-related areas, including Internet technology, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, consumer electronics, software applications, electrical and mechanical systems, and energy.

She believes that crafting effective patents starts with understanding the technology and makes it a part of her practice to establish a strong technical understanding of each invention. Sharon is also dedicated to understanding the role patents play in a client's overall business strategy and utilizes this insight in order to craft patents that are individually robust and also serve the overall portfolio strategy.
