Dr. Dominik Massing

Dominik Massing advises national and international clients on corporate restructurings, M&A transactions and all areas of corporate law. Dominik has also considerable experience with disputes between shareholders (corporate litigation). He studied in Bochum, Muenster and Sheffield and graduated from Westfaelische Wilhelms-University Muenster with a degree in law. He wrote his doctoral thesis at the Max-Planck-Institute for International and Comparative Private Law as research assistant of Dr. h.c. Jürgen Basedow, LL.M. (Harvard).

He served his legal trainee-ship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg with seats at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, New York, and international law firms in Hamburg. Prior to his work at Hogan Lovells, he was an associate in the Düsseldorf office of a leading international law firm and at a corporate boutique law firm in Hamburg.
