James Deal focuses his practice on health regulatory matters, including drug price reporting and compliance obligations under Medicaid, Medicare, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program, as well as coverage and reimbursement.
Jamie helps pharmaceutical manufacturers address their price reporting obligations under the aforementioned U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) programs, among other things through developing methodologies and reasonable assumptions, considering the price reporting impact of pricing strategies for their unique products, and approaching regulators with policy concerns. Jamie also helps clients on coverage and reimbursement matters for new and existing medical technologies, and on health regulatory matters generally.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Jamie practiced corporate litigation before the Delaware Court of Chancery and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
